Ma Yanli, professorate senior engineer, Deputy Director General of China Association of Foreign Engineering Contraction, Executive Director of China Association of Mechanical and Electrical Imports & Exports, President of Branch Association of Metallurgical Equipment. Ma Yanli, born in October 1945, graduated from the Department of Architecture of Tsinghua University in 1970. He has been engaged in supervision and participation of construction of many national as well as international key projects, and has worked in the governmental body for a long time. From 1985 to 1987, he was appointed as the Executive Deputy Party Secretary
of Anshan Municipality. From 1987 to 1993, he acted as the Mayor of
Anshan Municipality. From 1993 to 1995, he was appointed to be the Party
Secretary of Anshan Municipality. From 1995 to 1997, he was appointed
as the vice chairman and vice president of China Metallurgical Construction
Group Corporation. Since 1997, he has been working as the vice chairman,
president, and deputy party secretary of MCC Group Corp. He is deputy
to the seventh and eighth national people¨s congress.
