Li Shuchen, professorate senior engineer, and Deputy Director General of China Metallurgical Construction Association. He was born in November 1944 and graduated from the Department of Water Irrigation and Engineering of Tsinghua University in 1979. He has been engaged in supervision and participation of construction of many national as well as international key projects. From 1984 to 1985, he worked as the deputy party secretary of No.3 China Metallurgical Construction Company. From 1985 to 1993, he was appointed to be the president of the company. Since 1994, he has been acting as the vice chairman and executive vice president of China Metallurgical Construction Group Corporation.
